Plug and play “HSM on a chip” encryption board for makers. It provides a pre-configured FPGA chip with all functionalities needed to encrypt any data, which can be easily accessed and used by any maker board (e.g. RaspberryPi and Arduino).
GPIO: 250 available from the FPGA
(fewer accessible on the board)
Runs at 100 MHz
SPI link speed up to 100 Kbps
API / encrypted Command Line Interface
Anti piracy duplication protection and strong authentication (via chip ID)
Size 22.8 x 31.2 mm
Weight 4 g
How does it work?
Any controller board ( e.g. RaspberryPi, Arduino etc.) can be connected to the Kryptor PCB via SPI, I2C and UART using a simple data protocol (free Linux API software libraries are also provided) enabling access to all the functionalities of the Hardware Security Module (symmetric encryption, asymmetric encryption, hashing, keys generation/storing/management and a True Random Number Generator). Any maker is able to access those functionalities and build complex solution based on them. Kryptor is provided with a pin header (2.54mm) which fits perfectly into a standard breadboard and via 6 jumper cables (4 for SPI, 1 for 5V and 1 for GND) it can be connected e.g. to a RaspberryPi and put into use in a few minutes.
All crypto functions are embedded and running in our custom FPGA chip inside Skudo PCB (without OS, bare-metal)
True Random Number Generator (TRNG): FIGARO
